Women in God's Service (WINGS)

Women in God's Service (WINGS) is the name chosen by the women of Ascension for their group here in Crossville, Tennessee, which is part of the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS). These women are dedicated to serving Jesus by increasing awareness of, interest in, and support of the mission outreach program of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).

WINGS meets once a month. The group undertakes two projects during the year with all proceeds going to support 'Home and World Missions.' All women of Ascension Lutheran are automatically members of WINGS.
